Turab Speaks Out...

hasnain4.jpg (35776 bytes)

I am grateful of God for being a Muslim and follower of Imam Hussain (A.S). Needless to say, none of us are perfect accept the Almighty but, I have tried my best to follow the foot steps of my Imam, may Allah al mighty forgive our sins, amen.  I don’t think I need to introduce my family and our rotes. Shabber indeed has done a great job. I personally don’t believe in birth signs since God knows the future, and surroundings and environment play critical part in one’s personality and character building, but in this world, some people may call me a typical Libra. I am rather simple, but picky, friendly, romantic and very social person. I prefer action instead of talk and words, because words have no values, if there is no action. Unlike those who just like to repeat words upon words, but do nothing. I like things elegant with a touch of art.

God gave me a great opportunity to explore his one of the greatest creation “This beautiful world” by traveling. I am a traveller by nature, living, working, studying, interacting and traveling in Europe, North America and Asia has opened new doors of knowledge, it has been a wonderful experience of learning about other cultures, meeting new people and making friends all around the world. It has given me a complete new perspective of life. It won't be wrong to say, actually that I really learned to appreciate my own homeland, friends, family, religion and Allah al mighty. One thing which I also learned, never let anyone dictate my life, freedom, my very own rights and responsibilities Allah has given to me. He has defined a very clear and straight path to follow for us.

Living abroad gave me the opportunity to explain western world, that Islam and Pakistan is not all about fundamentalism, extremism, drug culture, corruption and women been treated 2nd class citizen. Unfortunately it is only because of 1 percent of the entire Muslim population, corrupt, power hungry, greedy, ignorant, unconscious political and religious leaders who have used the name of Islam and Pakistan. And the trend of adopting non-Islamic culture and some how making it part of Islam. It has portrayed an entirely different picture of Islam in the eyes of Western society.  Even though I can not claim myself to be a perfect Muslim, but still, I have tried to convey the true teaching of Islam and the mission of 14 massomeen. We Muslim ignored the importance of education and knowledge, which has destroyed our nation. Money and power has become of standard and criteria of better life, good character has no value.

Turab remembers his unforgettable...

-The day Ammi Jaan passed away, I never thought she would leave.

-The day I passed 10th grade.

-The night I did the Ziyaraat of our Prophet (p.b.u.h) in my dream.

-The last day of Saifee institute of Technology.

-The day I left Pakistan to explore the world.

-The day I moved to USA from England.

-The day my sweet twin sister got married and I missed her wedding.

The first day of my Job. It brought the old memories of my sweet home and tears, when Ammi, before leaving for school in kitchen trying to get everything ready for our breakfast and Abbu, having his breakfast there and us getting ready for school and college. The typical early morning hustle, but this time I was alone in the picture and had to prepare everything myself. No sisters and parents to help. That was the day I truly appreciated the hardship of my parents, who always have worked, especially spreading knowledge and education in the society, who scarified and gave us everything they had, I am lucky to have parents like them and the concept of family more then ever. May God bless you Ammi Abbu.

Childhood memories

Yaadein...

Most of my early childhood was with Ammi Jan (late). I literally grew up in her hands, till I was 12. I loved being with her and in our house, learning all about the religious duties as well as social from her. Indeed she was a greatest woman. She gave me the confidence to stand up for the right, never to give up, honesty and so my parents. I always have been incline towards technology, how different systems and mechanism work? Ammi jan, predicted that one day I would be an engineer, I used to and today it is close to come true inshallah.

When my age kids used to spend their pocket money and time in sports I was busy exploring the new world of different technologies and doing some strange science experiments which sometimes no one knew, not even my self what exactly I was playing with, and Ammi jan and Yawar Uncle saw my talent and interest, they supported and help me build little things. And those most beautiful days, when all cousins used to gather in our big family house, for the summer and winter holidays, we used to play different games around the house and at the roof and do little naughty things and watch movies, listen stories from our youngest uncle, Yawar Imam.

Happiness
I am happy and very content with my life ulhumdolilah. Work in the morning and University in the evening keeps my always busy and in spare time my favorite hobbies of traveling, photography and reading and off course conveying and debating Islam and its teaching and philosophy. God also has blessed me by giving me so many sincere friends around the world. I am currently living in Ohio, have great support from the local community and good relation with everyone very nice and corporative people indeed. The cycle of life is running bringing new thing in life and changing old things and this jurnoy of learning and exploring will not stop inshallah till the last breath.
